My Turn To Drive School's instructors are highly-trained, experienced and dedicated to the success of our students. 

Scott J. Seibert, M.S. Ed.

Owner

 

Scott is in his 20th year of teaching driver's education to the high school students in the the Delaware Valley.  He is passionate about teaching driver's education to novice drivers.  Scott believes that in addition to learning the rules of the road and defensive driving techniques that it is of the utmost importance to learn how to identify risk and utilize risk avoidance strategies to remain accident free. 

Jeff Nyce, M. Ed

Director

 

Jeff has been teaching in the classroom since 2002.  He has experience working with high school students as a classroom teacher and as a baseball coach for over 15 years.  Jeff now dedicates his time as the Director of My Turn To Drive School by providing top tier customer service to all of our valued families.  In the past, Jeff has worked as a delivery driver delivering cupolas and copper roofs as well as driving box trucks and pickup trucks.  He brings a wealth of experience and perspective to his driver's ed students.  Jeff has 2 children, one who recently obtained her license.  Jeff enjoys watching sports, playing golf, hunting, and working outside in his free time.  

Peter J. Dawson, J.D., M.A. Ed.

Instructor

 

Pete has taught Social Studies for the past 20 years and enjoys teaching the driver’s education theory classes.  Pete is also skilled at taking students out on the road for behind the wheel instruction.  Pete believes that experience on the road and anticipation of driving conditions are the key to safe driving.  Pete is also a girls basketball and ultimate frisbee coach.  He lives in the Radnor School district and is married with two children.  Pete enjoys cycling, golfing and sitting in a chair on the beach.

Brian P. Feeney, M.A. Ed.

Instructor

 

Brian has two teenage drivers in his household and he knows the importance of educating novice drivers to help ensure their safety and those with whom they’ll share the road.  Brian is skilled at delivering driver's education instruction both in the classroom and behind the wheel to the students on the Main Line.  Brian comes from a law enforcement family and is a career educator with over 20 years of teaching experience.  Brian’s free time is spent enjoying his daughter and son's sporting events and playing golf.

Chet Laubach, M. Ed.

Instructor

 

Chet has been teaching driver's ed for over 9 years.  He enjoys watching his students improve from understanding the basics of vehicle handling all the way to becoming defensive drivers who are able to anticipate changing driving scenarios and make the appropriate adjustments.  Outside of providing lessons, Chet enjoys spending time with his family, rooting for the Birds and coaching lacrosse. 

Michael J. Thim, M. Ed.

Mike has been with My Turn to Drive School since early 2016 and truly enjoys spending time helping students to hone their skills behind the wheel.  He believes that safe and defensive driving is the key to student success.  Mike has taught Health & Physical Education in Bucks County since 2000.  He is married and has three beautiful children.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, participating in all types of aquatic activities, snow skiing, rock climbing, and biking.  

Paul J. Hawkinson, M. Ed.

Paul has been a Health and Physical Education Teacher since 2001.  Paul has a passion for teaching and educating students.  He believes that safe and defensive driving is the key for learning how to drive successfully.    He enjoys seeing his driving students improve with each lesson, and becoming confident and safe drivers.  He and his wife have three beautiful children.  In his spare time, Paul enjoys running, biking, and watching his kids play sports.  

Marty Bauer, M. Ed.

Step into the driver's seat of education with Marty, a seasoned instructor whose expertise and zeal create the perfect learning journey for aspiring drivers. With years of hands-on experience and a genuine passion for road safety, Marty transforms the process of learning to drive into an empowering adventure. Guiding his students through the intricacies of traffic rules, and defensive driving techniques, Marty goes beyond the basics to instill a deep understanding of responsible driving.  He has an unwavering commitment to fostering a safe and comfortable learning environment. He patiently addresses individual concerns, adapting his teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles. His ability to establish a strong rapport with students creates an atmosphere of trust, making the driving process enjoyable and effective. 

Steve Norman, M. Ed.

Instructor
 

Steve has been a health and physical education teacher since 2000.  He has been teaching driver education since 2009.  Steve enjoys the challenge of helping student drivers develop their skills and confidence behind the wheel and seeing them improve with each lesson.  Steve and his wife live in the North Penn School District with their two children.  He is also a high school boys basketball coach.  When he is not teaching or coaching, Steve enjoys playing sports, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.
